Youngjong Island trip (Korea)

I am happy to introduce Youngjong Island trip as a Youtube video clip.

○ West Sea
Yeongjongdo is an island in South Korea's western sea. South Korea is surrounded by seas on three sides and the West Sea is mostly made up of mudflats. I visited the beaches of Mashian, Yongyu, and Eulwangni. Especially, you can enter the beach by car and cook and camp on the Yongyu beach.

○ Rest area & Levitation train
In March 2001, Incheon International Airport was opened and the Incheon Airport Expressway and the Incheon Bridge Expressway were constructed and connected to the Seoul metropolitan area. The scenery around the Yeongjong Bridge rest area was wonderful, and it was fun to take a magnetic levitation train that can be taken at Yongyu Station. Magnetic levitation train is for free and runs very smoothly. It runs from Incheon Airport's first passenger terminal to Yongyu Station.

○ Reeds & Wetlands
There is an aircraft maintenance complex near Incheon Airport's second passenger terminal. Around the maintenance complex, you can see vast plains filled with reeds. The scenery was very beautiful as if it were in the grasslands of Africa. It was a pleasant trip to see the reeds by bicycle.
Another reeds scene is the airport North  lower road. Visitors can enjoy the artificial lakes and wetlands created by building the second passenger terminal, or take a bike ride. You can see many migratory birds, especially in wetlands.

○ Temple
Yeongjongdo Island has a very small temple called Yonggungsa. Even if you are not a Buddhist, it is very common in Korea to experience Buddhist culture or enjoy Buddhist scenery.
○ Incheon Airport
Finally, I looked around the first and second passenger terminals on Yeongjongdo. In particular, the second Passenger Terminal I saw great works and scenery, including large electronic signboards on the driveway, various installation works inside the terminal, and observatory.

Yeongjong Island is a must for entering Korea from abroad.
There are many tourist attractions around Incheon International Airport, so I hope you visit and enjoy Yeongjongdo.
